New Editing Process: Lightroom + VSCO Film

After my 52 Week Project finished in December 2013, I took a bit of a break from shooting so regularly in January 2014. It turned out to be quite a long break, with only a couple of shoots here and there, thus i've barely had reason to open Photoshop for any editing.

I've seen Lightroom being recommended left, right and center as the next best editing software, so after overcoming my fear of learning a whole new program, I decided to give it a shot.

After a few weeks of edging my way around the software, I finally found my feet today whilst editing some candid shots from last weekend in Brighton.

I incorporated some VSCO Film presets, adjusted some sliders and even dabbled with the adjustment brush, until I had developed them further to my own style, and I am very impressed with the results!

I probably only have a total of 5 black & white images in my portfolio, but after creating this gorgeous preset I ended up applying it to all the images!

I'd love to know what you think of my new editing style!
