I believe there comes a time in life when you start to accept Winter and even appreciate the bitterness. All my life I have detested the cold, not even bearing it for a few seconds. I don’t know if it’s a new appreciation for the world or having experienced enough pain not to notice anymore, but there is something about a brisk Winter’s day with the harsh wind on my skin that I’m beginning to fall in love with. Stockholm Syndrome of the seasons, perhaps.
